What changed
New features, fixes and announcements — newest first. Grab the Updates role in Discord to get pinged when something lands.
Missed a day and lost a run you had going for weeks? A joker puts it back where it was instead of starting again at one. **Everybody already has one.** It is sitting on your account right now — you do not have to do anything. It shows up on the quests page the day after a flame goes out, with a button to spend it. One joker covers exactly one missed day, so it has to be used the day after. More are in the shop, and they are not cheap: 90,000 shards. A joker buys back progress, which nothing else in the shop does.
Calls can be clipped — that is stated in the rules now, so there is no per-person setting any more and /recording is gone. Everyone in the call is part of a clip. You can also clip one person on their own: say **clip adnan** or **clip the last 30 seconds of adnan** and only their voice comes out, with their pauses left where they were.
No voice call needed. Mention the bot, reply to it, or start a message with **Computer** and it answers in the channel — questions, summaries of what you missed, server facts, all of it. It remembers properly now too. Say "save this into your memory" and it still knows tomorrow, whether you told it in a channel or in a call. Everything else it forgets, the same as before. Admins can moderate from chat as well, and it still asks before anything happens.
Admins can ban, kick, time somebody out or clear the last messages in a channel — either out loud in a voice call, or in writing with the new /jarvis command. Nothing happens on the first ask. In a call it repeats back what it understood and waits for a yes; in chat it puts a button under the message that only the person who typed the command can press. Names do not have to be exact either — it finds the closest one and asks if it is unsure. It refuses anything it should not do: the server owner, anyone of the same rank or higher than the person asking, and itself.
It no longer needs a channel name spelled exactly right. Ask it to summarise a channel and it finds the closest one — "general" matches a channel actually called "general-chat". The same goes for roles, so "concentrate on admin" works without knowing how the role is written. If it is only half sure, it asks "do you mean ...?" instead of guessing, and waits for a yes. It is also told the names of everyone in the call before it starts listening, so people are no longer transcribed as somebody else.
Gate Runner was the one game whose scores stayed on your own device. Finished runs are now recorded on your account: you get a placing on the board, and a run pays 15–120 XP and 2–18 shards depending on how far you got, with a daily limit. Distance is the score. Your best run is what stands on the board, so a bad run never costs you your place.
**Void Survivor** and **Gate Runner** are both live in the arcade. Void Survivor is a bullet-heaven roguelite: clear twenty waves for the stage, or take Endless as far as you can hold out. Seven characters, permanent upgrades, and two separate leaderboards. Your gold and unlocks are saved to your account, so you can stop on your phone and carry on at your desk. Gate Runner is the quicker one. Your squad runs forward on its own and you pick between gates — but the gates are sums, not numbers, and both look identical. `+ 12+12` or `÷ 2`? You have about two seconds. The squad is your firepower and your health at the same time, so a bad answer hurts twice. --- **About the "dangerous site" warning some of you saw** A few people have called Nostalgie a scam after Chrome showed a red screen. That is a fair reaction, so here is the honest version. Google's automatic filter flagged the domain. We asked Google what it found, and the report named **no page at all** — when there is real harmful content, Google always lists the exact address. It matched a pattern instead of finding something: a new domain offering Discord sign-in, which is what most Discord scams look like from the outside. A review has been requested. On VirusTotal, which runs a site past 92 independent security scanners, Nostalgie comes back **clean on 91 of them**. What has always been true: we never ask for your password — signing in happens on Discord's own page. There is nothing to download. There are no payments and no card field anywhere. We do not imitate any other site. The full explanation, with a link to check the scan yourself, is at **/safety**. Please do not click past the Chrome warning while the review is running — ignoring it counts against the domain rather than for it.
The level leaderboard now shows a flame column next to the level — your longest streak that is still burning, whichever of the two is higher. A streak that was not fed today or yesterday counts as out, so the number always reflects a flame that is genuinely still alive.
The Discord command used to tell you your streak numbers. Now it answers the question people actually open it for: how many messages or how much voice time you still need today. It comes back as your own card — your name colour, your theme, your avatar frame — with a progress bar for each flame, the exact amount left, and a warning when a flame is going to go out tonight.
You no longer have to guess where your staff application stands. The bot sends you a DM at every step: • When it arrives — confirming it is in and being reviewed • When it is accepted — the role follows shortly after • When it is not accepted — with the reason, if one was given Two other things: being accepted no longer hands over the role instantly, it is given to you deliberately afterwards. And **admin applications are only open to moderators** — become a mod first.
Being banned from the Discord server means being banned from nostalgie.cc as well, and the other way round. Unbanning restores both. Nothing changes for anyone who is not banned.
You can now put a frame around your avatar. Eight of them are in the shop under **Frames**: • **Cat Ears** — 3,000 · level 2 • **Butterflies** — 6,000 · level 4 • **Lace & Pearls** — 8,000 · level 5 • **Starburst** — 10,000 · level 6 • **Blue cute Cat** — 10,000 · level 10 • **Orbit** — 12,000 · level 6 • **Angel** — 14,000 · level 7 • **Dolphins** — 25,000 · level 10 Your frame follows you everywhere: your profile, the leaderboard, the members list, the Quotes Wall, the Music Wall, and the card the bot draws for **/profile** in Discord. The shop preview shows exactly how it will look before you buy, and you can take a frame off again at any time.
The arcade has two more games to play against someone: **Last Stone** — twenty-one stones on the table. On your turn you take one, two or three. Whoever takes the last stone **loses**. Looks simple, is not. **Dots & Boxes** — draw a line between two dots. Close a square and it is yours, and you go again. Most squares wins. Both work like the other rooms: open one, send the link, and the winner takes XP and shards. The multiplayer lobby also moved. It used to sit at the very bottom of the games page where nobody scrolled to it — it now sits right under the daily feature, with the solo games below.
Instead of reading about the site, you get walked through it. Open **Tutorial** and press "Show me around". The tour opens each page for you and points directly at the thing it is explaining — your profile, the daily reward, the flames, the arcade, the shop preview, both walls and the updates page. Eleven stops, about two minutes. Escape leaves it at any point and it remembers where you stopped. The written version is still there if you prefer reading.
You can apply for moderator or admin once two things are true: • You have been in the Discord server for at least **7 days** • Your **Texting Flame reached 7** at least once. VC Flame does not count for this. The apply page shows both with a tick or a cross before you write anything, so nobody fills in a whole application and gets turned away at the end. Once both are met the form unlocks by itself.
The seven name colors everyone has stay free. On top of those there are now nine you earn: Neon Mint, Molten Orange, Ice Blue, Electric Lilac, Crimson, Royal Violet, Cyber Pink, Solar Gold and Platinum — each with a price and a level. Prices across the whole shop went up. Shards were coming in faster than there was anything to spend them on, so almost nothing felt rare. An entry title now costs 1,500 and the rarest items run into the tens of thousands. Anything you already own stays yours — nobody is charged again. Equipping also shows a progress line now, instead of a button that just spins while Discord updates your name.
Unlocking an item in the shop equips it straight away — no more hunting for the Equip button afterwards. The card shows a small progress line while it happens, and your shard balance counts down instead of jumping.
• Deleting an item from the shop works properly now. It used to fail whenever anyone owned the item, while still removing the look from their profile — so the item stayed in the shop and in inventories. Deleting now also refunds everyone who paid for it. • Free items respect their level requirement again. A name color marked level 5 could be worn at level 1. • Profile views no longer count refreshes. One person opening your profile counts once a day instead of once per page load.
Members no longer land on the front page. Opening nostalgie.cc now goes straight to your dashboard, and the button in the top right — where Dashboard used to be — is now Home, which shows the public site.
Two things changed about flames. **You get warned before you lose one.** If your Texting or VC Flame is at 3 or higher and you have not fed it today, the bot DMs you in the evening with how many hours are left and exactly what to do. One message per day, never more. The quests page shows the same warning right on the flame. **The flame was redrawn.** It used to be a plain icon on the website and, on the Discord rank and profile cards, just a coloured dot. Now it is a real flame with a glow, and it looks the same everywhere — website, /rank, /profile and /flames. A flame that has gone out is shown grey instead of pretending to still burn, and /flames now tells you whether today already counted.
The separate Items tab is gone. Everything you own now lives in the Shop under the "Yours" tab, so buying and equipping happen in the same place. Nothing was lost: titles, themes, badges and colors the owner gave you personally show up there marked "Yours only", and the option to wear no title moved across as well. Old links to the items page send you straight to the Shop.
The shop has been redesigned from the ground up and filled with new things to collect. • 15 new items: 6 titles (First Light, Certified Yapper, Track Selector, Wall Regular, Server Veteran, The Archive), 5 badges (Archivist, Resident DJ, Quote Keeper, Streak Holder, Living Legend) and 4 themes (Static, Forest Floor, Cherry Cola, Neon Drift). 42 items in total. • Every item now shows a rarity — Free, Common, Rare, Epic or Legendary. • A "Yours" tab collects everything you already own, so you can equip without hunting for it. • Items you cannot afford yet show a progress bar with exactly how many shards are missing. • Sorting by cheapest or rarest, plus a stats header showing your shards, level and collection progress. • The featured drop can now be bought straight from the banner. • New animations throughout, and the whole page was rebuilt for phones. Find it under Shop.
The moderator console has a testing panel: replay the welcome setup or tutorial, reset your own daily reward, and send yourself a test update. Every test only touches your own account.
Everyone keeps 2 picks on the Music Wall instead of posting 3 a day. Your slots are permanent: the composer shows how many you have used, and when both are full you remove one of your own tracks to make room. Nothing expires and nothing disappears on its own. You can always delete your own recommendations and your own quotes. Staff can remove anything that does not belong.
It is not only about slurs any more — direct insults in German and English are blocked as well. Normal swearing still goes through, because the Quotes Wall is there to save how people actually talk.
Keeping the wall a place people want to be. • Slurs and hard abuse are now blocked everywhere you can write: quotes, music notes, bios, the welcome setup and staff applications • The filter also catches the usual tricks like spacing letters out, swapping numbers for letters or padding a word • Normal words that happen to contain a blocked sequence stay allowed • You can delete your own quote, and staff can remove anything that does not belong • Staff can clear an inappropriate profile; the member keeps their progress and is told why Where: Quotes Wall, Music Wall, and the Mod panel for staff
This page got a quieter mode. • Big changes keep the full entry with a tag and description • Little fixes appear as a single quiet line so they do not drown out the real news

You now get told when something happens, and everything you need sits in one menu. • A bell in the top bar shows unread notifications • You are notified when someone likes your quote or your music pick • Staff application decisions arrive there too • The moon icon became a full settings menu: light/dark mode, quick links to your profile, items, shop, tutorial and applications, the Discord invite, and sign out Where: top right of every page
Every change to Nostalgie is now written down publicly. • Newest first, tagged as New, Fix or Update • Announcements can be published straight to this page • Grab the Updates role in Discord to get pinged when something ships Where: Community -> Updates, or nostalgie.cc/updates
Three games were quietly refusing legitimate wins. All fixed. • Reaction Rush and Aim Trainer could reject a completed run over a rounding difference • Zen Clicker rejected any run where you missed the core even once, even though missing is part of the game • Winning runs now register every time, with the rewards you earned Where: Games
A new ranked game joins the arcade. • Type the line exactly as shown before the timer runs out • Letters turn green as you get them right and red when you slip • Accuracy carries your score, typing speed adds a bonus • Three difficulties with their own time limits Where: Games, at the bottom of the arcade
No more guessing how close you are. • Locked achievements show a progress bar with your current count and the target • Covers quotes, likes, flames, games, duels, RSVPs, shards, level and your collection Where: Community -> Achievements

Show up daily and get paid for it. • Claim a free reward once a day for XP and shards • Claim on consecutive days and the reward grows, up to day 7 • A popup reminds you when the reward is waiting • Works in Discord too with the /daily command Where: your Dashboard, or /daily in Discord
A shop fix plus a new spotlight. • Themes priced at zero could not be bought or equipped. Anything free is now simply equippable • The shop can highlight a Featured drop at the top Where: Shop
Moderator and admin applications are now handled on the site. • Answer a short set of questions and submit • Applications open and close depending on whether the team needs help • Staff review every application and you get notified about the decision Where: Apply in the menu, or nostalgie.cc/apply
More ways to say who you are. • Pronouns: He/Him, She/Her, They/Them • Age group: Under 18 or 18+ • Interests: Gamer, Night Owl, Music • News and Updates roles so you only get pinged for what you care about • Age and pronoun roles are single choice, the rest you can mix Where: the welcome setup, or your Profile page
Getting started is clearer now. • The welcome setup walks through your name, introduction, name color, roles and a quick tour • Picking a role is required so nobody ends up with an empty profile • After setup you are offered an optional tutorial explaining the whole platform and every Discord command • Finishing the tutorial pays 150 XP and 100 shards, once Where: nostalgie.cc/tutorial, or the Tutorial link on your Dashboard
Your public profile can look like a lot more things. • Aurora Veil, Deep Current, Rose Quartz, Ember, Lavender Haze and Golden Hour • Themes now also show up on the bot rank and profile cards Where: Shop -> Themes
Colors are no longer something you save up for. • Every name color can be equipped at no cost, any time • Equipping a color also recolors your name inside Discord • Titles, themes and badges still cost shards • The Discord invite is easier to find across the site • New members now get a welcome DM explaining how to get verified Where: Shop -> Name colors
